First of all , e-mail or phone us with your enquiry and let us know what information you require on the badge. Here
are examples of data fields which may assist you :-
NAME, DESIGNATION, STAFF NUMBER, ISSUE DATE, EXPIRY DATE, SIGNATURE
OR SIGNATURE STRIP, COMPANY ADDRESS AND CONTACT DETAILS, ETC.
You can have virtually any static and variable text
and artwork/photo on the badge. If you require reverse printing, you can incorporate your mission statement, photo or
map of premises, accreditations, safety authorisations or instructions etc.
Unlike other providers, we DO NOT CHARGE ANY SET UP FEES. Please
ensure that any artwork submitted i.e. logo, banner, background is in high resolution bmp, jpg or gif format. Alternatively,
send any other format i.e. word, pdf etc. or you can forward letter headed paper, a compliment slip or a business card. If
you do not have the logo in the preferred format, we may be able to download your logo from your website. The first draft
will be e-mailed to you. You may then wish to make several amendments as necessary - take as much time as you need to get
other providers, we software enhance images/photos where necesary at NO EXTRA COST
to ensure the best photo is used. Your photos should be digital - using a digital
camera or camera phone, simply e-mail your jpg images (in batches or in a zip file). Alternatively post a CD, DVD or memory
stick to us. Photos should be head and shoulders shot gainst a plain background in good lighting conditions. (We can
provide you some guidelines on this)
If you don't have digital images, or if
it is hard to obtain these from your staff, just post one colour passport photo or a recent photo to us. These can also be
scanned by us however reproduction will not be any near as good as digital images, which are the preferred format. All
photos will be returned to you.
all relevant data which is to appear on the badge on a spreadheet with references to the image files/photos. You should ensure
that all photos have the consent of your staff or contractors in accordance with Data Protection principles.
We will then create and e-mail you a sample badge
FREE OF CHARGE with no obligation. Once the design and format has
been finalised, we will post a hard copy to you for your approval. Once all is agreed, we will be in touch with you to help
you send all information (photos, staff records etc.) to us. Once all is approved, and we have all employee data and photos,
your order will normally be processed within 2 working days and dispatched to you. Badges can thereafter be called off extremely
quickly and efficiently by e-mail.
